The Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China (MOE) is in charge of providing Chinese government scholarships, and it delegated the administration of international student recruitment and day-to-day management of Chinese Government Scholarship Programs to the China Scholarship Council (CSC).
International students accepted through the Chinese Government Scholarship Programs will be housed in 94 Chinese universities chosen by the MOE. JSU Presidential Academic Scholarship in China
Incoming freshmen must have a 3.50 GPA in their college preparatory coursework (as determined by undergraduate admissions), an ACT composite score of at least 28, or a SAT composite score of at least 1300.
Full Tuition, Room and Board, Fees (Mailbox, Student Activity, Capital Improvement, and Non-Resident State Fees), as well as $750 for books per semester (campus only).
If a GPA of 3.50 and 30 credit hours are upheld each academic year, the scholarship may be continued for an additional three years.
Full Academic Scholarship
Incoming Freshmen, College Preparatory Curriculum GPA of 3.0 (as calculated by Undergraduate Admissions); ACT score of 25-27 or SAT score of 1200-1290. Covers: Full Tuition, Room and Board (campus charges only). Scholarship may be renewed for 3 years if an institutional GPA of 3.25 and 30 credit hours are maintained each academic year. This scholarship does not cover non-resident or other fees.

Incoming Freshmen: 3.0 GPA in the College Preparatory Curriculum (as determined by Undergraduate Admissions); 23–24 on the ACT; or 1130–1190 on the SAT.
