The Rhodes Scholarship allows gifted young people from all over the world to study at the University of Oxford on a full-time, fully supported basis. Most full-time postgraduate programs at Oxford University are open to Rhodes Scholars who are in the country for two or more years.
Benefits of Fully Funded Scholarship in University of Oxford UK
The Rhodes Scholarship offers both a salary per year and pays the cost of tuition at Oxford University. The stipend for the academic year 2021/22 is £17,310 ($1,442.50) each year, which Scholars use to cover all living costs, including housing. Please be aware that this does not provide coverage for partners or dependents.
The detailed Conditions of Tenure document outlines permitted degree combinations and the number of years of study that are covered by the Scholarship, as the latter depends on the course of study chosen. For instance, Scholars who choose to pursue a DPhil (PhD) at Oxford may be eligible for up to three years of fees and stipend.
The Rhodes Trust will pay the application fee for students who are awarded the Scholarship and wish to enroll in University of Oxford courses. The Trust will cover the expense for a student visa and the associated International Health Surcharge (IHS), which enables international students to use the UK’s National Health Service.
The Rhodes Trust will pay for two roundtrip flights in economy from and to the UK for the start and finish of the student’s time at Oxford. Scholars are given a settling-in allowance when they arrive at Oxford, and if they decide to switch to the second year of study there, they will once more receive financial aid to cover the cost of their visa renewal and subsequent IHS application.

Apply for the British Council IELTS Scholarships for Nepali students and receive up to £10,000 to fund your studies worldwide!
We launched the British Council IELTS Award to support exceptional people who have a strong desire to advance their professions and who can show that they have the potential to benefit society through their studies. We believe in creating chances that may change lives.
The British Council IELTS Scholarships 2022 will give selected candidates the opportunity to enroll in an English-taught undergraduate or graduate program at any higher education institution worldwide (in Germany or overseas) that accepts IELTS as one of its admission requirements.
The British Council IELTS Award is worth between £3,000 and £10,000, depending on the institution the winner chooses, and it will be applied to the winner’s course tuition costs.
The prize will be paid directly to the school and is only valid for classes beginning in August 2022 through the 2022–2023 academic year.
The remaining funds may be used to support other runners-up in the British Council IELTS Scholarships for Nepali students competition if the successful applicant’s tuition costs fall below the maximum individual award money of £10,000.
The chosen individual will exhibit a dedication to networking within the IELTS community and imparting their knowledge to other IELTS applicants.
How to apply
- Take the IELTS test an official Test Report Form (TRF) dated between 1 June 2021 and 30 June 2022 from the British Council in Germany by taking the IELTS exam at a testing facility authorized by the British Council in Germany. Note: A TRF issued by a testing facility outside of Germany is not acceptable.
